DESCRIPTION
The ERZ-V20R431 is a V series ZNR transient/surge absorber engineered to protect against transient overvoltages. It has a nominal varistor voltage of 430V and a maximum allowable voltage of 275V ACrms or 350V DC. This device features a maximum clamping voltage of 710V at a peak current of 100A and can handle a maximum peak surge current of 10,000A (8/20 µs, 1 time). It offers a high energy handling capability of 303J (10/1000 µs) and operates within a temperature range of -40°C to 85°C. The ERZ-V20R431 is well-suited for surge protection in AC 100V to 220V line-to-line and line-to-ground applications.
