DESCRIPTION

2-1437536-5 is a standard DTP socket from the 500 Series designed for through hole PCB mounting applications. It features 20 positions with a 2.54 mm centerline and 7.62 mm row-to-row spacing, utilizing beryllium copper contacts with gold plating on the mating area. The socket offers excellent electrical performance with 5,000 MO insulation resistance, 10 mO contact resistance, and a 3A contact rating. Operating over a temperature range of -55°C to +125°C, it features a thermoplastic housing with UL 94V-0 flammability rating. This socket is ideal for production applications requiring reliable interconnection with wave solder capability up to 265°C.
