DESCRIPTION

SGX_EVAL_EC is an electrochemical gas sensor evaluation kit designed to test, calibrate, and evaluate SGX electrochemical sensors including SGX-4, SGX-7, PS1, PS4, and dual-gas sensors (AOX, EOX, VOX). The kit features adjustable bias voltage control ranging from -700 mV to +350 mV via potentiometer VR1, dual-channel current measurement with selectable gain (high range: 3.051 kO transimpedance, low range: 15.255 kO with 5× gain), and a 16-bit ADC converter providing 25 nA resolution per step in high range mode. The evaluation board includes three sensor sockets (S2 for Series 4/PS4, S3 for Series 7, S4 for PS1) and a P5 connector for VOX/AOX/EOX sensors, with USB-C interface (J1) for PC communication and real-time data logging. The kit supports linear and logarithmic calibration modes, zero and span calibration functions, temperature measurement via onboard sensor, and includes software for data acquisition, concentration calculation, and parameter configuration. This evaluation platform enables engineers to develop and optimize sensor applications in gas detection, environmental monitoring, and industrial safety systems.
