DESCRIPTION
The 7001618 is a 16 x 18 inch moisture barrier bag from the Dri-Shield 2000 series, designed to create a static-safe and low-moisture environment for sensitive electronics. Manufactured from a multi-layer laminate of aluminized polyester and polyethylene, the bag has a material thickness of 3.6 mils and provides a puncture resistance of 20 lbs. It offers excellent moisture protection with a Moisture Vapor Transmission Rate (MVTR) of 0.035 grams/100 sq. in./24 hrs. For electrostatic protection, the bag delivers ESD shielding of less than 10 nJ, EMI attenuation of 45 dB, and has both interior and exterior surface resistance under 1x10^11 ohms. These heat-sealable bags are suitable for vacuum packaging, making them ideal for protecting static-sensitive and moisture-sensitive components during storage and transport.
