DESCRIPTION

The 202K121-100-01/86-0 is a heat-shrinkable molded part made from a low-fire-hazard (-100) material, designed to provide sealing and strain relief for cable-connector terminations and transitions. It operates over a temperature range of -30°C to 105°C and shrinks when heated above 120°C to form a tight seal. The material features excellent fire safety characteristics, including a low smoke index (20 max), low toxicity index (5 max), and a high temperature index of 250°C minimum. Mechanically, it provides a minimum tensile strength of 8 MPa and retains good resistance to common industrial fluids. This part is ideal for use in safety-critical applications such as marine vessels, mass transit systems, and offshore installations where reducing hazards from fire is crucial.
