DESCRIPTION

The MS3476W14-4S is a DEUTSCH AFD Series miniature circular connector designed for harsh aerospace, defense, and marine environments. It features bayonet quick-connect coupling with rear release contacts, environmental sealing, and aluminum alloy shell construction with electroless nickel plating. The connector is qualified to MIL-DTL-26482 Series II and supports Service Rating II operating voltages of 1000 VACRMS/1275 VDC at sea level, with test voltages up to 2300 VRMS. Contact retention is specified at a minimum axial force of 25 lb for Size 16 contacts, and the connector includes EMI spring fingers with a maximum conductivity drop of 5 mV. This connector is ideal for commercial and military aerospace applications, military ground vehicles, and other demanding environments requiring reliable electrical connections with superior environmental protection.
