DESCRIPTION

MS3470W12-3S is a miniature circular connector featuring bayonet quick-connect coupling and environmental sealing for harsh aerospace, defense, and marine applications. The connector is qualified to MIL-DTL-26482 Series II and features an aluminum alloy shell with electroless nickel plating, copper alloy contacts selectively plated with 50 µin gold, and silicone-based elastomer seals. It operates across a temperature range of -55°C to 200°C with a recommended operating voltage of 1000 VACRMS/1275 VDC at sea level (Service Rating II), supports 500 mating cycles, and incorporates rear-release crimp contacts with closed-entry socket inserts for positive pin alignment. The connector is ideal for commercial and military aerospace applications, military ground vehicles, and other demanding environments where reliable electrical connections and environmental protection are critical.
