DESCRIPTION

The DMC-MD80AW01 is a single-module, environmentally sealed connector designed for reliable use in commercial aerospace cabin systems. It features a lightweight, nickel-plated composite housing and is built to withstand a wide temperature range of -55°C to +175°C. The connector is rated for 500 mating cycles, provides vibration resistance up to 20 g, and offers EMI shielding with attenuation of 50 dB at 100 MHz. It has an insulation resistance of 5000 MΩ and supports various contact sizes with current ratings up to 46 A for size 8 contacts. Compliant with EN4165, ARINC 809, and BACC65 standards, this modular connector is ideal for flexible and reliable connectivity in applications such as in-flight entertainment systems and avionics.
