DMC-MD80A01 is a single-module quick-change modular connector solution designed for aircraft in-flight entertainment (IFE) and cabin systems. The connector features a composite nickel-plated housing with flexible modularity supporting crimp and PCB contacts ranging from size 24 to size 8, accommodating signal, coaxial, Quadrax, power, and optical contacts. It operates reliably across a temperature range of -55°C to +175°C with 500 mating cycle durability and 500-hour salt spray resistance, providing robust performance in demanding aerospace environments. The connector offers multiple keying possibilities, quick-install coupling, and toolless assembly for ease of installation, making it an ideal choice for reconfigurable cabin network applications where lightweight, compact connectivity is essential.
