The 1590Z119PL is a rugged diecast aluminum enclosure designed for electronic instrument applications requiring watertight protection and durability. It features a two-piece tongue and groove construction with a replaceable one-piece silicone rubber gasket rated from -40°C to +150°C, providing protection against dust and water ingress while remaining ideal for repetitive opening and closing. The enclosure measures 4.80 inches in length and width with an internal depth of 4.72 inches (less lid) and a wall thickness of 2.36 inches, and includes an internal mounting shelf for component organization. Four recessed stainless steel machine screws secure the lid into tapped holes, with self-captivating lid screws for convenient installation. The enclosure is designed to meet IP68 specifications and is certified to Type 4, 4X, 6, and 6P standards with cUL and UL listing, carrying an IK08 impact rating per IEC62262.
