DESCRIPTION

HCM0703-4R7-R is a high current surface mount power inductor designed for DC-DC converter and power management applications. It features a 4.7µH open circuit inductance (±20% tolerance), a saturation current of 10.0A at 25°C, and an RMS current rating of 5.5A for approximately 40°C temperature rise. The inductor utilizes a powder iron core material with magnetic shielding for low EMI and low core losses, housed in a compact 7.4 x 7.0 x 3.0mm maximum package. With a typical DCR of 37.0mO and maximum DCR of 40.0mO at 20°C, it offers efficient power handling up to 5MHz operating frequency. This RoHS compliant, halogen-free component is ideal for high-efficiency power supply designs requiring reliable performance across an operating temperature range of -55°C to +125°C.
