DESCRIPTION

12052856 is a low-voltage connector housing designed for automotive applications, featuring polarized terminals and pre-closed mat seals on 0.64 mm terminal cavities for enhanced reliability. The connector supports multiple cavity configurations (2 to 18 ways) with blade sizes of 1.5 mm, 2.8 mm, and 6.3 mm, accommodating wire sizes ranging from 0.22 mm² to 6.0 mm² depending on the terminal variant. It operates across a temperature range of -40°C to +140°C and provides IP67, IP6K7, IP69, and IP6K9K sealing protection ratings, ensuring robust performance in harsh engine compartment and on-engine environments. The connector features high retention force, terminal position assurance, and first mate last break layout for safe connection, with mating/unmating cycle capability of 20 cycles with tin-plated terminals. Applications include engine management systems, gas converters, and chassis-mounted electrical systems where vibration resistance (Class 2, 30.6 G sine, 18 Grms random) and environmental protection are critical.
