C115288-6141 is a microminiature MDM (Microminiature Connector) designed for high-performance space and high-reliability applications. It features a high-performance Micropin contact system with twist pin spring male contacts and tubular socket contacts, non-removable crimp type construction, and is available in multiple cavity configurations (9, 15, 21, 25, 31, 37, 51 cavities). The connector incorporates a moisture and humidity seal between contacts and shell via compression interfacial seal, with contact centers spaced at 1.27 mm (0.050 inch) and a distance of 1.09 mm (0.043 inch) between contact rows. Materials include aluminum alloy shells with electroless nickel or gold finish, LCP thermoplastic insulators, copper alloy contacts with gold finish, and fluorosilicone elastomere interfacial seals. The connector is supplied with factory-installed terminations or cables and is suitable for board-to-board, board-to-cable, or cable-to-cable applications in satellites, payloads, and other space systems requiring low size, low weight, and stringent outgassing and residual magnetism compliance.
