DESCRIPTION

131-3701-201 is a straight PC-mount SMB jack assembly designed for RF and microwave applications requiring reliable coaxial connectivity. The assembly features a brass body with cold-plated nickel (0.00005 inches minimum) and copper plating (0.00005 inches minimum), along with brass contacts similarly finished for optimal electrical performance. The insulator is constructed from Teflon, providing excellent dielectric properties and environmental stability. The connector operates over a wide temperature range from -65°C to +165°C and withstands high potential voltages up to 600 VRMS at 4 and 7 MHz. With an engage/disengage force of 14 lbs, contact retention of 4 lbs minimum axial force, and durability rated for 500 cycles minimum, this jack assembly is suitable for demanding RF applications in telecommunications, test equipment, and military systems where corrosion resistance and thermal stability are essential.
