DESCRIPTION

The A1614CHEMC is a hinge-cover junction box designed for indoor use to contain stray electromagnetic interference (EMI) and shield internal components from external EMI/RFI. Constructed from 14-gauge mild steel, this enclosure measures 16.00 x 14.00 x 6.00 inches and features continuously welded seams, a continuous hinge, and stainless steel screw-down clamps. A combination of woven steel mesh and an oil-resistant gasket provides a shielding effectiveness greater than 80 dB at 1 GHz. The plated finish ensures conductive surfaces for gasket contact and conduit entries. This enclosure is ideal for housing sensitive electronics, meeting NEMA Type 12/13 and IEC 60529, IP54 standards.
