DESCRIPCIÓN

SMCJ24CA is a bidirectional transient voltage suppressor diode designed for surge and ESD protection in portable communications, computing, and video equipment. This device features a working peak reverse voltage of 24 V, a breakdown voltage of 26.7 V, and a maximum reverse voltage rating of 24 V with a maximum reverse current of 38.9 A. The diode is housed in a compact SMC (DO-214AB) surface mount package and offers peak pulse power dissipation of 1500 watts with a peak forward surge current of 200 amps (8.3 ms single half sine wave). Operating over a temperature range of -55°C to +150°C, the SMCJ24CA provides fast response times of less than 5.0 ns and is ideal for protecting sensitive electronic circuits from transient voltage spikes and electrostatic discharge events.
