DESCRIPTION

The 3048-OR005 is a single-conductor hookup wire designed for general-purpose electrical connections and wiring applications. It features a 28 AWG (7/36) tinned copper conductor with a nominal 0.016" wall PVC insulation, providing a total outer diameter of 0.047" ± 0.002". The wire is rated for 300 V RMS and operates reliably across a temperature range of -40°C to +105°C, meeting both UL AWM/STYLE 1007 (80°C) and AWM/STYLE 1569 (105°C) standards, as well as CSA International TR-64 and FT1 specifications. With a maximum pull tension of 1.37 lbs and a bend radius of 10X cable diameter, this wire is ideal for internal wiring in electronic equipment, control circuits, and general hookup applications where compact gauge and reliable insulation are required.
