DESCRIPTION
MP080A is an 8.0 MHz quartz crystal resonator designed for fundamental frequency operation in a proven HC-49/U metal package. The device features a high-Q AT-cut quartz resonator with frequency tolerance of ±30 ppm at +25°C and frequency stability of ±50 ppm over the operating temperature range. It operates across -20°C to +70°C (standard) or -40°C to +85°C (extended range), with a series resistance of 40 O typical for the 8.0 MHz frequency band. The crystal is housed in a compact metal can measuring 13.46 × 10.85 × 3.8 mm and is ideal for wireless communications, FPGA/microcontroller timing, computer peripherals, and consumer electronics applications requiring stable frequency references.
