DESCRIPTION

747459-2 is a 9-position D-subminiature receptacle connector designed for right-angle PCB board mounting in the HD 20 series. The connector features round phosphor bronze contacts with gold plating (30 µm) on the mating area and tin-lead over nickel plating on the solder tails, ensuring reliable electrical connections and corrosion resistance. It is preloaded with size 20 DF posted socket contacts and has a termination post length of 3.18 mm (0.125 in), with a recommended PCB thickness of 2.36 mm (0.093 in). The housing is constructed from thermoplastic material with glass fiber reinforcement and meets UL 94V-0 flammability rating, while being wave solder capable to 260°C, 240°C, and 265°C for various manufacturing processes. This connector is ideal for standard applications requiring robust, compact interconnections in industrial and commercial equipment.
