描述
The 746610-4 is a 20-position DIP (Dual In Line Package) ribbon cable connector plug designed for direct termination to printed circuit boards. It features a 2.54 mm × 2.54 mm [0.100 × 0.100 in] centerline matrix with phosphor bronze contacts plated in bright tin-lead over nickel for reliable mating and solder connections. The connector housing is constructed from black thermoplastic material with UL 94V-0 flammability rating, and includes a preassembled cover for protection. The solder tail contacts are plated with bright tin-lead over nickel and are wave solder capable to 240 °C, 260 °C, and 265 °C, making it suitable for standard PCB assembly processes. This connector is commonly used in ribbon cable applications requiring secure, polarization-free connections in consumer electronics, industrial control systems, and data acquisition equipment.
