The housing is made of thermoplastic rated 94V-0 in black and is SMT compatible, while the shell is steel plated with bright nickel over copper. Contacts are phosphor bronze with duplex plating featuring a minimum of .000030 inch (0.00076 mm) gold on the mating end and tin on the solder end, all nickel underplated.
