The 292228-2 is an AMP Mini CT SMT type horizontal-mount header connector without boss, designed for surface-mount board applications. This connector features a 1.5 mm pitch and supports 2 positions in the base configuration, with expandable position options up to 20 positions via dash-number selection. It operates at 50 V (AC/DC) with operating currents of 2 A at 26 AWG and 1 A at 28 AWG, across a temperature range of -30°C to +105°C. The connector mates with either mass termination (MT) receptacle housings (353293) or crimp-type housings (353908) with crimp contacts (353907-1 or 353918-1), supporting wire gauges from 24 to 28 AWG. This design is ideal for compact, high-density interconnect applications in business equipment, industrial machines, IoT devices, and consumer electronics requiring reliable wire-to-board connections.
