FSM2JRT is a tactile switch from the FSMJRT Series manufactured by TE Connectivity/Alcoswitch, featuring a 6 x 6 mm form factor with radial tape packaging for automated assembly. The switch utilizes copper alloy silver-clad plate contacts, a nylon case, and PBT actuator button, with copper alloy silver-clad plate terminals for reliable electrical performance. It delivers a contact rating of 50 mA at 12 VDC, an initial contact resistance of 100 milliohms maximum, and an insulation resistance of 100 megohms minimum at 100 VDC, with dielectric strength rated at 500 VAC for 1 minute. The switch operates across a temperature range of -40°C to +105°C, provides an actuation force of 160 ±50 grams with a 0.254 mm actuator travel, and supports up to 100,000 cycles of operation. This component is ideal for consumer electronics, industrial control panels, and telecommunications equipment requiring compact, reliable momentary switching functionality.
