The 70046 is a Dri-Shield® 2000 moisture barrier bag manufactured by SCS, designed to provide packaging for ESD and moisture-sensitive items both inside and outside ESD protected areas. The bag is constructed from a laminate of multiple layers of aluminized polyester and polyethylene, with polyester providing puncture resistance and metal layers providing ESD shielding and moisture protection. It features a moisture vapor transmission rate of =0.035 grams/100 sq. in./24 hrs, tensile strength of 7800 PSI (54 MPa), and puncture resistance of 20 lbs (89 N), with a thickness of 3.6 mils (0.0914 mm). The bag is heat-sealable and suitable for vacuum packaging, meeting ANSI/ESD S20.20 and ANSI/ESD S541 standards with ESD shielding of <10 nJ and EMI attenuation of 45 dB (1 to 10 GHz). These bags are ideal for protecting sensitive electronic components during storage and transport, with printed ESD and moisture warning symbols and lot codes for traceability.
