The 230811 is a cushioned static shielding bag designed to protect electronic components from electrostatic discharge and physical damage during handling and transportation. It is constructed with multiple layers, including an outer polyester layer, an aluminum shielding layer, an inner polyethylene layer, and a closed-cell barrier bubble cushion layer, providing a nominal thickness of 0.150 inches (3.8mm). The bag offers excellent electrical properties, with both inner and outer surfaces having a surface resistance between 1 x 10^4 and < 1 x 10^11 ohms, and provides discharge shielding of less than 20 nJ. Physically, it demonstrates robust performance with a seal strength greater than 7 lbs/in and a puncture resistance exceeding 20 lbs. This Level 3 static control bag is free of amines, N-octanoic acid, silicones, and heavy metals, making it suitable for packaging sensitive items where cleanliness is critical. It meets ANSI/ESD S541 requirements for transporting sensitive products outside of an Electrostatic Protected Area (EPA).
