714-0261 is a subminiature snap action switch from the DB Series designed for precision switching applications requiring high repeat accuracy. The switch features a thermoplastic base and cover with a thermoplastic actuating button, stainless steel spring, and silver-nickel or gold crosspoint contacts, offering multiple terminal configurations (NC, NO, and Common). It is rated for currents up to 10A at 250VAC according to EN61058-1 standards and 5A to 10.1A at 125/250VAC per UL1054, with mechanical life up to 15 × 106 cycles. The switch operates over a temperature range of -40°C to 85°C (or -40°C to 120°C for selected models), features an IP50 degree of protection, and includes a contact gap of less than 3mm. Common applications include industrial control systems, appliances, and instrumentation where reliable switching and high cycle life are essential.
