The KA-81-01 is a cap and chain assembly designed for TNC connectors, providing protective coverage and tethered retention for RF connector interfaces. The assembly features a silicone rubber pad (ZZ-R-765) bonded to a brass body with stainless steel 303 bead chain for secure attachment. The connector interface is threaded with 7/16-28 UNEF-2B specification, and the assembly incorporates nickel-plated couplings and silver-plated metal parts per military specifications (QQ-N-290, QQ-S-365) for corrosion resistance and durability. The bead chain is passivated per QQ-P-35 for enhanced reliability.
