The connector incorporates dual polarizing bars for mating polarization, ejection latches for secure connection, and gold-plated contacts over nickel with phosphor bronze contact material. The solder posts are tin-lead plated over nickel with a length of 2.60 mm, and the connector supports wave solder processes up to 265°C.
