It features a moving beam contact design with an IDC (insulation-displacing contact) slot that accommodates a wide range of magnet wire sizes, producing a clean metal-to-metal interface through wiping action that removes oxides and contaminants. The terminal operates with stripping burrs that displace the film insulation during insertion, and excess magnet wire is automatically trimmed flush with the plastic cavity. Available in both reeled strip form for semi-automatic or fully-automatic machine insertions and loose piece form for hand tool applications, the 600880 provides stable, gas-tight electrical terminations suitable for high-speed automatic coil winding machine applications and production line integration.
