描述

The 5499923-8 is an IDC (insulation displacement connector) low-profile ejection-style pin header designed for ribbon cable interconnection with center polarization and long latches. This connector features a soldertail length of 0.185 inches (4.79 mm) and accommodates 34 positions with duplex contact plating (gold on mating surface, tin on solder area, with nickel underplate). The housing and eject latches are constructed from PBT material rated UL 94V-0, while the posts are phosphor bronze with specified plating finishes. The connector mates with receptacles equipped with strain relief and is commonly used in ribbon cable assemblies for computer peripherals, data acquisition systems, and industrial control applications where reliable interconnection and easy insertion/removal are required.
