描述

The 2-111506-4 is a 40-position universal I/O pin connector designed to terminate 26 and 28 AWG solid or stranded ribbon cable. It features a flame-retardant, UL 94V-0 rated black thermoplastic housing and cover, with slotted mounting ears for secure mounting. The phosphor bronze contacts are plated with gold on the mating end and tin on the termination end, both over a nickel underplate. This model includes long latches, intended for use when mating with connectors that have strain reliefs. These connectors are ideal for wire-to-board applications, such as connecting boards or subsystems within equipment, and are mateable with Novo receptacles and female socket connectors.
