The 188275-4 is a female-on-board surface mount device (SMD) connector from the TE Connectivity Micro-MaTch connector family, designed for reliable wire-to-board and board-to-board interconnections. This 4-position connector features a contact centerline spacing of 1.27 mm and tin-plated contact design that provides gas-tight connections resistant to fretting corrosion. The connector incorporates an additional positioning spring in the female part that absorbs relative movements caused by vibrations and thermal expansion, preventing contact spot movement and ensuring long-term reliability. The 188275-4 is suitable for mass termination of 28 AWG ribbon cable (0.08–0.09 mm²) and is available in surface mount configurations with vacuum pick-and-place tape options.
