The housing is made of thermoplastic rated 94V-0 in black, with a steel shell plated bright nickel over copper and phosphor bronze contacts featuring duplex plating with minimum .000030 inch (0.00076 mm) gold on the mating end. It supports 28 AWG (0.08-0.09 mm²) or 30 AWG (0.05 mm²) wire sizes with insulation diameters of .029-.036 inch (0.74-0.89 mm). This connector is ideal for data and device applications requiring reliable, high-density interconnections with insulation displacement contact (IDC) termination for fast and economical assembly.
