1-1478404-0 is a BNC straight plug RF connector designed for cable-to-cable coaxial connections with professional-grade construction. It features a 75 O impedance characteristic, silver-plated brass body with silver-plated brass center contact, and is compatible with RG59B/U and other standard coaxial cable types including PSF 1/3M, RG 140, RG 210, and URM 90. The connector employs a bayonet coupling mechanism with mechanical contact captivation and terminates to wire and cable via clamp and solder terminal methods. With a mated outer diameter of approximately 14.53 mm and polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) dielectric material, this connector is suitable for RF signal transmission in broadcast, video distribution, and instrumentation applications requiring reliable impedance matching and low signal loss.
