The SF2D-DC12V is a flat-type double-contact safety relay manufactured by Panasonic with a nominal coil voltage of 12V DC and 2 Form A and 2 Form B contact arrangement. It features forced-operation contacts where N.O. and N.C. side contacts are mechanically linked through a card so that if one contact welds, the other maintains a minimum 0.5 mm contact gap, ensuring continued safe operation. The relay achieves high contact reliability through Au-flashed AgSnO2 contact material, a separated chamber structure that prevents short circuits between contact sets, and a high-efficiency polarized magnetic circuit that enables 500 mW nominal operating power.
