The SC628AN is a loud continuous-duty AC audible alarm designed for industrial and commercial signaling applications. It operates on 6 to 28 VAC with a current draw of 4–30 mA and produces a sound output of 88 to 101 dB(A) at 2 feet at a frequency of 2900 ± 500 Hz. The device features a molded black nylon housing and is rated for operating temperatures from -30 °C to +65 °C and storage temperatures from -40 °C to +85 °C. It mounts directly to panels via a 1.25-inch hole with a knurled nut (maximum torque 10 in-lbs) and includes brass tin-plated terminals tapped for #6-32 screws that accept 1/4-inch quick-connect terminals.
