The SC616N is a loud continuous-duty piezoelectric buzzer designed for audible alarm and notification applications. It operates across a wide voltage range of 30 to 120 VAC/DC with a nominal frequency of 2900 ± 500 Hz, delivering 90 to 102 dB(A) sound pressure level at 2 feet (80 dB(A) at 30 VDC minimum, 95 dB(A) at 120 VDC maximum). The device draws 6–24 mA and features a 6/6 nylon black housing with panel-mount capability through a 1.25-inch hole. Operating temperature range is -30 °C to +65 °C, with storage capability from -40 °C to +85 °C. Typical applications include industrial control panels, security systems, medical equipment, and general-purpose alarm signaling where high sound output and broad voltage compatibility are required.
