KSA0M511 is a sealed tactile switch from the KSA & KSL Series, engineered for automatic or manual insertion in applications requiring reliable switching performance. The switch features a 5.0 N (500 grams) actuation force with a travel to make of 0.7 ± 0.2 mm and an operating life of 100,000 operations. It incorporates SPST, N.O. contact arrangement with double overmolding on terminals, membrane sealing, and PC pins with optional ground pin for enhanced durability and environmental protection. The switch supports top or side actuation with cambered terminals for self-retention and offers a washable option with a large choice of interchangeable caps. Electrical specifications include maximum power of 1 VA (silver contacts) or 0.2 VA (gold contacts), maximum voltage of 50 VDC, maximum current of 50 mA (silver) or 10 mA (gold), contact resistance less than 50 mO, and dielectric strength of 300 Vrms.
