The 3407 is an F Series pushbutton switch designed for multi-pole switching applications in audio selection, digital equipment interfaces, and medical equipment. It supports up to 10 poles per module with configurable contact arrangements (2U through 10U PDT), mechanical functions (momentary, alternate push-push, or interlock), and terminal styles (solder lugs or PC pins). The switch features silver or gold contact materials with ratings of 50 VA/15 W (silver) or 1 VA/300 mW (gold), operating voltages up to 125/30 V AC/DC, and a maximum carrying current of 2 A (silver) or 0.5 A (gold). With an operating life exceeding 105 operations at 24V/200mA, contact resistance of 10 mO typical (20 mO maximum), and dielectric strength of 1500 V, the 3407 delivers reliable performance across diverse industrial and consumer applications. The switch operates over a temperature range of -40°C to 70°C and is RoHS compliant with mechanical indicator buttons and various mounting configurations available.
