M83513/04-D04C is a Micro-D metal shell microminiature connector designed for highly reliable, extremely small, lightweight applications requiring high-density contact configurations. This connector employs size 24 MICROPIN/MICROSOCKET contacts on 0.050" (1.27 mm) centers with aluminum shells that provide greater strength, electromagnetic (EMI) and RFI shielding, and silicone elastomer compression interfacial seals for moisture and humidity protection. The connector meets rigorous environmental and performance standards, including dielectric withstanding voltage of 600 VAC at sea level, insulation resistance of 5,000 megohms minimum, thermal shock capability from -55°C to +125°C, and contact resistance of 8 milliohms maximum at 3 amps.
