Safety Interlock Switches are designed for mounting on a door or a cover, so that when the door or other part is opened, they open automatically. They prevent the gear shift lever from moving until the brake is applied. These safety switches are generally used in small enclosures and compact spaces, multiple door modular machinery, and other industrial applications.

GKMB16 Safety Interlock Switch from Honeywell is available with various mounting and actuation options to offer design flexibility. Small in size, this Honeywell Switch is designed to fit in extremely compact places. Its expected mechanical life is up to five million operations. The tough design of this Interlock Safety Switch makes it durable and ideal for long-lasting use.
