The Honeywell BZ-2RQ-A2 Snap Action Switch is used for simple or precision on/off application needs. A Snap Action Switch is a type of momentary contact micro switch which is generally used as sensors in automotive, industrial and mechanical instruments. Snap action switches are used to open or close an electrical circuit at rapid speed and are used in various industrial applications such as, irrigation systems, semi-trailer trucks, timing devices, office equipment, test instruments, medical and dental equipment, HVAC equipment, manually operated devices, and valves.

The BZ-2RQ-A2 Honeywell Switch has a low operating force and a long mechanical life up to 20,000,000 cycles at 95% survival. It comes with an elongated mounting hole for an easier and more accurate mounting. The current ratings of this micro switch ranges from 15 A to 25 A for a voltage of 125 VAC. The BZ/BA Series standard switches offers a choice of actuation, termination and operating characteristics.
