The 62A15-02-060S is an optical encoder from Grayhill's Series 62A featuring a 1/2" package with 16 detent positions (22.5° angle of throw) and an integrated pushbutton switch. It provides 2-bit quadrature coded output with optically coupled design rated for over 1 million rotational cycles, operating at 5.0 Vdc with a maximum supply current of 30 mA and power consumption of 150 mW. The encoder features a maximum operating speed of 100 RPM, operating torque of 2.0 ±1.4 in-oz initially, and is compatible with CMOS, TTL, and HCMOS logic.
