The GX26BAB is a 600+ amp 12–800 Vdc EPIC® hermetically sealed DC contactor designed for high-reliability switching applications. It features a rugged EP10 seal rated to 175°C, stand-up mounting with integrated safety cover, and hermetic sealing that meets UL1604 (Class I & II, Div 2 and Class III), IP67 for temporary water immersion, SAE J1171, and ISO8046 standards for hazardous locations. The contactor incorporates high-efficiency dual DC coils with very low continuous power consumption (7.8 W at nominal voltage), internal coil suppression eliminating the need for external diodes, and operates with a 12 VDC coil option (B designation) featuring a maximum contact resistance of 0.3 mO, mechanical life of 1,000,000 cycles, and operate time of 20 ms maximum. Its stainless steel construction, position-insensitive mounting, and aerospace-grade technology make it ideal for battery-powered systems, renewable energy applications, and demanding industrial environments where low EMI emissions and corrosion resistance are critical.
