FMAD1206 is a miter right-angle 2.92mm male-to-female RF adapter designed for microwave and millimeter-wave applications. The adapter features a passivated stainless steel body with beryllium copper contacts plated with gold over nickel (4 µm minimum), providing excellent electrical performance with a VSWR of 1.25:1 maximum across its operating frequency range up to 40 GHz. The connector configuration includes a 2.92mm male (plug) on one end and a 2.92mm female (jack) on the other, with a mating torque specification of 8 to 10 in-lbs (0.90 to 1.13 Nm) and a minimum of 500 mating cycles rated for each connector. This adapter is ideal for general-purpose RF test applications and enables connections in tight spaces where standard straight adapters cannot fit, while also serving to protect expensive equipment connectors by reducing the number of connect/disconnect cycles on primary connectors.
