The SL355 is a personal noise dosimeter and datalogger designed for measuring total sound exposure over an 8-hour period with OSHA and IEC compliance. It features a measurement range of 60–130 dB with A/C weighting and peak detection capabilities up to 140 dB, adjustable criterion levels (80, 84, 85, or 90 dB), and configurable exchange rates (3, 4, 5, or 6 dB). The device can datalog up to 12,000 readings when used as a sound level meter with sampling times between 1 second and 1 hour, and stores up to 20 dosimeter surveys with data including start/stop time, %dose, projected 8-hour dose, and peak levels. It includes a 0.5-inch electret condenser microphone with 31-inch cable, LCD display, USB interface for Windows-compatible software, and operates for over 35 hours on three AAA batteries.
