The MO265 is a combination pin/pinless moisture meter designed to measure moisture content in wood and various building materials using two distinct measurement methods. The pinless measurement mode uses electromagnetic sensing technology to provide non-invasive readings up to 0.75 inches (22 mm) below the surface with a relative moisture range of 0 to 99.9, while the pin measurement mode measures moisture equivalent (%WME) in the range of 6.0 to 99.9% with 0.1% resolution. The meter features a digital LCD readout with backlighting and tri-color LED bargraph for quick visual indication, includes a built-in calibration check, and comes with a remote pin probe (MO-P1) for accessing difficult-to-reach areas. The device is compact at 8 x 2.3 x 1.7 inches (203 x 58.4 x 43.2 mm) and weighs 7.2 oz (204 g), making it portable for field use in construction, restoration, and building inspection applications where rapid moisture assessment is critical.
