The L-2 is a Type L barrier-style terminal block designed for heavy-load terminations in machine, switchboard, and industrial applications. It features a nickel-plated brass terminal bar with 1/4"-20 plated round-head steel screws and is rated for 100A at 600V, with UL recognition for wire up to No. 1 AWG. The phenolic housing has a continuous-use temperature rating of 150°C (302°F), a flammability rating of 94V-1, and provides a terminal-to-terminal breakdown voltage of 11,000V typical and terminal-to-ground breakdown voltage of 9,700V typical. The tightening torque specification is 50 in.-lb., and the maximum lug width is 27/32". This terminal block is readily adaptable to special applications and can be combined with other Types (O, S, H, and BT) for flexible circuit configurations, making it ideal for branch circuit terminations and heavy current distribution systems.
