The 3296W-1-502 is a 3/8" square Trimpot® trimming potentiometer manufactured by Bourns, featuring a 5,000 ohm resistance value with multiturn cermet construction and industrial sealed design. This device offers a resistance tolerance of ±10% standard, infinite resolution, and adjustability of ±0.01% voltage and ±0.05% resistance, with an effective travel of 25 turns nominal. The potentiometer operates over a temperature range of -55°C to +125°C with a temperature coefficient of ±100 ppm/°C, and includes a chevron seal design for enhanced reliability. It is rated for 0.5 watt at 70°C and features solderable pins with a maximum torque of 3.0 oz-in., making it suitable for precision trimming applications in instrumentation, data acquisition, and industrial control systems where fine adjustment and long-term stability are required.
