FSSH0126G-BLK is an outdoor heavy duty loose tube OS2 single-mode fiber optic cable designed for outside plant (OSP) applications. It features 12 fibers with 8.2/125 µm core diameter, gel-filled subunit waterblocking, and corrugated steel tape (CST) armor for enhanced protection. The cable construction includes a GRP central strength member, aramid yarn strength members, PVC inner and outer jackets with nominal diameters of 9.4 mm and 15.5 mm respectively. With maximum attenuation of 0.40 dB/km at 1310 nm and 0.30 dB/km at 1550 nm, it supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet performance up to 10,000 m at 1310 nm and 40,000 m at 1550 nm. This cable is ideal for campus area networks, long haul, and backbone applications requiring robust outdoor performance across an operating temperature range of -40°C to +70°C.
